#SHRM22 Spotlight on Exhibitor – iSolved

With a huge exhibition hall with over 500 exhibitors and vendors, the SHRM Annual Conference is a great place to connect with companies who will be demonstrating and selling a variety of products and services to thousands of attendees.

One of the companies that I hope you will take some time to visit is isolved. isolved is a customer centric, Human Capital Management (HCM) company headquartered in Charlotte, NC with eight offices located across the country.

I was able to connect with Melissa Versnik, a Wisconsin-based isolved Marketplace Product Manager. Melissa was also a long-time board member with Greater Madison Area SHRM and a previous Chapter President where our paths have crossed. Here is what Melissa shared with me about isolved.

Q1. Melissa, I know you from our shared membership with the Greater Madison Area SHRM chapter in Madison Wisconsin, but could you please tell us a little about you and your role with isolved?

My role with isolved is the Marketplace Product Manager.  We have a collection of partners that offer complementary products to solve our client’s business needs.  The isolved People Cloud can integrate with other software our customers may need to run their business. I manage the relationships with those partners and look to continually bring new partners to light that will make our customers lives easier on a day-to-day basis or provide benefits to their employees.

Q2. For those that may not be familiar with isolved, could you tell us a little about your products and services as well as your target market in terms of industry, size, etc.?

Would love to! isolved provides HR software and services for more than 145,000 employers relying on isolved to intelligently connect the employee journey across talent acquisition, HR and payroll, benefits, workforce management and talent management functions. Regardless of the industry, isolved helps high-growth organizations employ, enable and empower their workforce. We recently launched built-for-healthcare and built-for-manufacturing solutions that are backed by deep and tenured expertise in these industries that each account for 10 percent of our customer base. Our customers are typically small- and medium-sized businesses but we pride ourselves in isolved People Cloud serving the 50-person business as well as the 5,000-person enterprise.

Q3. I’m sure you have many competitors in the HCM marketplace. What do you believe distinguishes isolved from your competitors?

For the more payroll/operational task competitors we compete successfully with the breadth and level of integration of the solution, along with the extensive HR augmentation services we offer. A fuller solution set allows us to scale more easily as the customer’s needs develop over time.

For a full HCM suite we compete most successfully by focusing on the very rapid time to value of our solution, measured in days and weeks, not months, and in the level of service and support we can offer through our many regional HR experts.

Where we also really standout is through our People Heroes Community, with its vibrant superhero mascots (you’ll see them at SHRM) and a community of customers ready to ask and answer questions and advocate for the industry (and isolved).

Q4. What seems to be the top three trending issues that HR professionals are reaching out to your organization for solutions for?

HR professionals want true accessibility – the ability for any team member to feel pride in accessing their payroll, benefits and HR happenings on their own through accessible means (whatever that means for them).

HR professionals want an intelligently connected HCM platform with the ability to tie payroll data to other facets of the employee journey including retention predictions through predictive people analytics.

HR professionals want more than just payroll with the ability to tie a person’s passion into their profession such as with giving and volunteering modules that intelligently connect directly to time off and pay.

Q5. What can conference attendees expect to see when they visit your booth (#2565) at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center? Any hints on any giveaways or drawings that you may have for attendees that stop by?

We look forward to seeing you at our booth #2565! We’ll be taking donations for Youth Rebuilding New Orleans starting Sunday, June 12. On Monday, we’ll have a customer panel as well as a book signing with Lighthouse Research & Advisory Principal Analyst and Chief Research Officer Ben Eubanks. You won’t be able to miss us with our People Heroes on-site giving SUPER high fives. Make sure to stop by to snag a ticket for a free cup of coffee at our streetcar – maybe you’ll catch a hero for an Instagram worthy snap!

Q6. What are some top takeaways that attendees should bring back to their organization’s decision makers to consider partnering with isolved?

We’ll grow with you. There is no pressure to adopt the full suite all at once. We truly believe in meeting you where you are and helping you grow in your HCM maturity.

Q7. Is there anything else that you would like to add?

When isolved commissioned Forrester Consulting for a Total Economic Impact Study, the independent research proved isolved People Cloud has a payback period of less than six months, a 277 percent ROI and a total of $1.5 million in benefits over a three-year period.

I hope that you will all visit Booth # 2565 at the SHRM Annual Conference Exhibition Hall to speak with Melissa and her isolved team to learn more about their products and services.
